I am an Assistant Professor at Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) in Chile.

My research interests cover a broad range of topics in theoretical astrophysics with emphasis on:

• The host galaxies of binary compact object mergers, short gamma-ray bursts, and X-ray binaries

• High-redshift galaxies as protocluster tracers

• The dark matter halo - galaxy connection, and how the dark matter properties impact galaxy properties

• The circumgalactic and intergalactic medium 

Besides my interest in science, I am an amateur photographer and trail runner addict.
